Kite Festival by Mascot Gaming – Exclusive First Review

I said it before, and I’ll say it again…

Mascot Gaming create some of the most stunning looking crash games out there.

This definitely holds up with their upcoming release of Kite Festival, a new crash game that Crash Gambler is exclusively reviewing before the actual release.

Discover Kite Festival and all of its features before others do as well!

Much like Mascot Gaming’s Paper Lanterns crash game, Kite Festivals desktop and mobile interface lets you know there’s a lot going on in this game, and trust me, that initial gut feeling doesn’t lie.

Once you get past the welcome screen with basic game instructions, you’re met with a beatiful scenery of a mountain valley and not one, but five betting interfaces!

Aside from those five round bet buttons, there are plenty of other features to cover. Let’s dive in!

Desktop Experience

You can’t tell me that this game doesn’t look stunning, right?

Despite the presence of five betting interfaces, the game’s interface is rather minimalistic and calming.

Compared to certain games like Crash Royale by iMoon, which feels much more cramped and feature-filled, this feels pleasant.

Now, once you start setting off three, four or even five kites at the same time, things definitely do go from calming to exciting and even wild at times.

When you release more than one kite, things get a bit more chaotic (and rewarding!).

That said, the chaos is easily controlled since every kite’s betting interface has an ‘Autoplay’ and ‘Autocollect’ feature.

Once you have all the autoplay (and ideally also auto collect) settings set up on each betting interface, you can opt-in for the ‘Bet All’ and ‘Collect All’ features in the game’s top right corner.

The collect-all feature is essential if you want to play with all five kites in manual mode.

This feature is the only thing that will allow you to handle the chaos of setting off five kites in manual betting mode. I can’t stress enough how important it is.

Before I wrap up this section, I must add that despite not even being released yet, this game performed spectacularly on my desktop device, without any bugs or delays present.

Mobile Experience

Before I explain more about this game’s mobile gameplay experience, I have to admit I like the desktop version more. It just gives you more breathing space to play.

That being said, for all you mobile gamers, don’t worry. This game is still a gem, even on mobile!

The game’s mobile interface remains largely unchanged, except for the changed position of the ‘Bet All’ and ‘Collect All’ features.

I forgot to mention this before, but if you look at all of the screenshots I took of this game, you’ll see that there’s a gift box next to some active kites.

The free bets that you collect will be automatically used in the next round of the game. Great idea, Mascot Gaming!

If you ever need more information about the game and its features, there’s a burger menu in the top right corner of both the mobile and desktop versions, which holds both game information and settings.

Right next to it, you can check your previous bets and your balance. That’s it!

The mobile version of the game performs without any hiccups. It works exactly as I would expect from Mascot Gaming.

Kite Festival is by no means an advanced crash game where you can automate numerous betting strategies like you can in Crash by BC Originals, for example.

However, with five betting positions and some betting automation available, you can still craft some interesting strategies.

Let’s have a closer look at the gameplay options.

Manual Mode

If you want to play in straight manual mode, I recommend you do so with either less than 3 kites per round or by using the ‘Bet All’ and ‘Collect All’ feature.

You can also play in manual mode, setting up different bet amounts on each betting position, switching between those you’d like to manually bet on, and cashing out.

Autoplay Mode

Regardless of how basic they seem, the ‘Autoplay’ and ‘Autocollect’ features that you can find on each betting position are worth their weight in gold when managing more than 3 kites.

I like to use the autoplay feature on all five kites while cashing out manually while there are at least 3 kites left in the game by using the ‘Collect All’ option.

This allowed me to have a lot of fun while keeping the amount of manual clicking to a minimum.

Kite Festival is a blast, but like any other crash game, it has a few downsides.

Pros

✅ Gorgeous game design
✅ Five betting positions
✅ Amazing free bets feature
✅ Easy to understand gameplay
✅ Bet all and collect all features
✅ Betting history
✅ 5000X maximum multiplier

Cons

❌ Betting automation is basic
❌ No real-time provable fairness
❌ Lack of features like game statistics or leaderboard

The question is, did Mascot Gaming deliver what I expected? Most definitely!

Sure, there are more complex games with more features, but Kite Festival is not trying to be one of those games. It’s trying to entertain, and it does exactly that.
