It’s official: fishing-themed crash games have officially arrived in crypto casinos! Pragmatic Play, the game development company behind the immensely popular “Big Bass Bonanza” slot game and its many iterations, has officially released the Big Bass Crash game!
Pragmatic Play is not new to the crash gambling scene. Their Spaceman game is amongst the most recognizable crash titles!
Today, I’m looking at Pragmatic Play’s latest bass-infused fishing bonanza, where catching high multipliers is more important than catching small or big mouth Bass.
Game Information
Game Name and Provider | Big Bass Crash by Pragmatic Play |
---|---|
Return-to-Player (RTP) | 95,5% |
House Edge | 4,5% |
Algorithm | Provably fair RNG |
Mobile Support | Yes |
Maximum Win | $50,000 |
Maximum Bet Amount | $100 |
Minimum Bet Amount | $1 |
Maximum Payout Multiplier | No maximum payout multiplier |
Unique Features | Live bets Provable fairness 50% Cash out option |
From this game info, four things stood out, and not all were positive.
First, a 95.5% RTP? Come on, Pragmatic Play. Top-rated crash games like Crash by BC Originals and Crash by Stake Originals offer an impressive 99% RTP. For a full breakdown of how RTP affects odds, check out our crash gambling odds guide.
Betting limits are another issue.
Low-stakes players won’t enjoy it with the $1 minimum bet, and the $100 max bet is too small for high rollers. These limits need improvement.
On a positive note, I love the 50% cash-out option they’ve included. If you’ve read my review of Spaceman by Pragmatic Play, you know I applauded them for incorporating this function before.

Gameplay Experience
Before I tell you all about my gaming experience with Big Bass Crash, it’s only right that I explain how the team behind Crash Gambler and I execute game reviews.
To serve you with an unbiased report, we follow a game-review procedure, which I’ve broken down into several steps on Crash Gambler’s review processes page.
Desktop Gameplay Experience
Playing casino games on a desktop device is my favorite. It’s way more comfortable, and that’s why I always open up this report with the desktop gameplay experience.
As is common with Pragmatic Play’s games, the way they implement all the essential game information and a how-to-play guide is amazing.
You can find all the essential game information about the game by clicking the little question mark button in the top right menu.
This button opens up the “Game Help” window, which contains just about any piece of information about the game you need.
For all other support, you can click the little conversation bubble icon in the top right menu to talk to other players or the live chat support!
To learn about the betting limits, check the top left corner of the game. There, you can clearly see the game limits we talked about before ($1 minimum bet, $100 maximum bet).
Onto the game experience, I will be short; it’s outstanding.
And frankly, nothing less was expected from Pragmatic Play. Just like Football X by SmartSoft, it differentiates from the typical spaceship theme that most crash games have.
I’m pleased to say that the game ran smoothly on all our laptops and desktop PCs, even with its animation-heavy design. Our desktop devices handled it without breaking a sweat. However, it’s important to note that a stable internet connection is essential for optimal gameplay experience.
If you’re playing on a weaker internet connection or device, you can turn off the game animations by clicking the camera icon button in the top right corner menu.
Pragmatic Play is renowned as one of the best casino game development studios, and it’s no surprise their newest addition to the crash market performs without a hitch.
Mobile Gameplay Experience
Like your favorite modern crash games, Big Bass Crash is designed for smooth fishing on mobile devices.
Our gaming experience on almost any mobile device is all sunshine and rainbows!
It not only keeps the same attractive visuals as on the desktop, but I can also vouch that the gameplay on all our devices was as smooth as butter. There were no betting hiccups, no lag, and definitely no game crashes in sight.
Bfefore you head out and catch some bass, ensure your internet connection is as solid as your fishing boat. This is an animation-heavy game.
In the grand finale, our team’s consensus was crystal clear: Just like Pragmatic’s Spaceman game, Big Bass is a winner.
Whether you’re gaming on a desktop or playing on the go on mobile, with a stable connection, you’re bound to have an amazing experience and loads of crash gambling fun.
How to Play Big Bass Crash by Pragmatic Play
Since our review of Pragmatic Play’s Spaceman game, the in-game menu of their games did receive a quick how-to-play guide. However, if you want to learn how to play the game in all modes, I suggest you stay right where you are.
Manual Mode
If you’re new to Pragmatic Play’s crash games or new to crash gambling altogether, I suggest you kick things off in manual betting mode.
To do so in Big Bass Crash, you’ll need to use the part of the betting interface that is displayed in the image below.
To enter the game in manual mode, all you need to do is select a bet amount and click the green “Confirm Bet” button. That’s it!
You can use the bet amount shortcut buttons to quickly add $1,5,10 or $25 to your bet amount or click the little “2x” button to double it.
Once you click the Confirm Bet button, your bet is registered, and the green button turns red, allowing you to cancel the bet until the beginning of the next round.
Once the next round starts, your only job is to cash out before the multiplier crashes. But that’s not all, Big Bass Crash also allows you to cash out just 50% of your wager!
Being able to cash out 50% is a rare and amazing feature, you won’t see it often!
Auto-Bet Mode
The auto-betting mode in this game packs a punch, and here’s everything you need to know!
I’ll begin by introducing you to two valuable tools at your disposal: Auto Cashout and 50% Auto Cashout. To engage these functions, you’ll find the toggle buttons situated in the lower left corner.
Cashing out manually can be exhilarating but comes with inherent risks and potential losses. To mitigate these concerns, I highly recommend using the Auto Cashout functions.
These two features automatically collect your winnings as soon as the multiplier reaches a certain point, ensuring your profits are secured without any manual intervention.
Once again, I cannot recommend using the 50% Auto Cashout feature enough! With this option, you can cash out 50% of your winnings at a lower multiplier automatically while the remaining 50% continues to reach for the moon.
It’s worth noting that even when relying solely on these two functions, the initial bet placement remains a manual task at the start of each round. If you want a completely hands-free experience, you’ll need to use the autoplay function.
Upon clicking the Autoplay button, a little menu emerges, offering the option to specify the number of automated bets you wish to see placed.
And there you have it. Compared to games like Crash by Roobet, this isn’t the most advanced crash game out there, but I must say the 50% cash-out function is a genius addition!
Other Game Features
Pragmatic Play’s games are usually jam-packed with features, and Big Bass Crash is no exception. Here are the most notable features of this game.
Provable Fairness
There is no other feature as important as provable fairness. By implementing the provably fair crash algorithm into Big Bass Crash, Pragmatic Play assured their players with:
- 100% randomized game results
- A relaxed gaming experience
To verify the fairness of each round in the Big Bass Crash, you’ll find all the relevant details right at your fingertips, as shown in the image below.
When you want to check the fairness of a game, just click on the result in the bottom result strip. A new window will pop up, presenting you with both the game’s result and the hash value used to generate that result.
To verify the game’s fairness, you can use any third-party SHA256 algorithm decryption tool.
Paste the game result into the tool and compare it with the hash provided by the game’s interface. If they match, you can rest assured that the game is fair and unbiased.
If you compare the data from the first screenshot to the second one, where I verified the fairness using a 3rd party SHA256 algorithm tool, you can see that the results match.
You can play in peace, this game is 100% fair!
This confirms that Big Bass Crash is definitely a provably fair game!

Statistics Menu
Big Bass Crash holds a surprisingly great statistic tool that blew me away. Not only can we access the game’s past results, but you also have the option to view some statistics on the last 50 to 500 rounds of the game.
To access these statistics, click on a game result at the bottom of the game, and a menu will pop up. Use the navigational arrows located at the top of this menu to find the statistics section.
In the statistics chart in the image above, you can see that 49.75% of the last 400 rounds of the game finished with a multiplier falling in the range of 1.01X to 1.99X. Remarkably, only 0.75% of these rounds ended with a multiplier exceeding 101X.
You can leverage this valuable data to your advantage when crafting advanced Big Bass Crash gambling strategies!
So, don’t miss out on this treasure trove of information – use it to your advantage and enhance your crash gambling strategy!
In-game Live Chat Support
Aside from Evolution Gaming’s Cash or Crash game, there are not a lot of games that offer in-game live chat support. Lo and behold, Big Bass Crash is one of them!
If you ever need impromptu help in this game, click the live support button in the top right corner menu, and Pragmatic Play’s support staff will be with you in a few minutes.
Player’s Chat Room
Crash games without chat rooms can make you feel like you’re the only one playing, even when you’re not. The image below shows you where to turn on the live chat function and start yapping away with other players!
Pros & Cons of Big Bass Crash by Pragmatic Play
Big Bass Crash is definitely a fun crash game, but if you’ve paid close attention, you know that it’s not exactly perfect.
However, we have to do this game justice by also pointing out the numerous positives!
We loved Big Bass Crash due to…
✅ The amazing, fishing-based animations and graphics.
✅ All the incredible game features, like provable fairness and statistics.
✅ The fact that you can turn off the game animations when needed.
✅ A smooth gaming experience on all platforms.
✅ The option of cashing out just 50% of your winnings in both game modes.
✅ The fun we had while playing the game!
We were, however, deeply disappointed by…
❌ The RTP is set at just 95.5%, which is below average.
❌ The betting limits are far too restricting.
❌ There is only 1 betting interface.
Final Thoughts
Despite the double number of pros vs. cons, we still think Pragmatic Play has a lot of work to do if they really wish to see this game compete with some of our favorite titles. The low RTP rating alone is enough to deter us from playing this game regularly.
This is a fun game you play once or twice, but after that, I’d much rather stick to games that allow me to win more.
Nonetheless, Pragmatic Play succeeded in creating yet another fun and lively crash game that fits well into their whole Big Bass universe. Do we recommend you give it a go? Most definitely!
You can play this game in the following rewarding and safe casinos. Good luck!
