Soccer-based crash games are becoming a new trend. Given that the sport is followed by billions of people, I am not surprised at all.
Football X by SmartSoft was an amazing game, so I am eager to determine whether Onlyplay’s release will overshadow the competition.
My first impressions are very positive, so let’s not waste any more time—I’ll get started!
Gameplay Experience & Features
I tested GoalX to see if it matches the excitement of other crash games or brings something new.
Here’s my gameplay-focused breakdown to help you decide if it’s worth a shot. And, of course, I’m using the game review process to be 100% unbiased.
Desktop Gameplay Experience
GoalX offers smooth, dynamic gameplay that is similar to CosmoX but with a football twist.
The dual-betting interface—a now-standard feature popularized by Aviator by Spribe—is here, too, giving you more flexibility to strategize.
You can toggle the ball animation on or off, and yes, the sarcastic “Bye Bye” message appears when you lose.
Speaking of winning and losing, the RTP is 97%, which is standard (but not very high!) for crash games.
If you prefer better payouts, you can check our high-RTP games post.
The unpredictable ball dynamics, like delayed acceleration, add a layer of suspense.
You can also check your bets, the number of players online at the same time, and some live stats about players.
I’m missing the all-time winner list, but it’s not that big of a deal.
Mobile Gameplay Experience
I’ve got to say that GoalX runs flawlessly on mobile. The reason is that the file size is just 1MB.
Like Lite Crash by BetFury, it’s built for mobile-first players, which is another trend I’m witnessing lately.
While the mobile version defaults to a single betting interface, you can enable the dual-betting option for advanced strategies.
That’s another similarity between CosmoX and GoalX. But if something works, why change it?
Kudos to Onlyplay for delivering a mobile experience that meets modern expectations.
Gameplay Options
The next things that I like to analyze are the gameplay options and features. I pay a lot of attention to them.
After all, applying different crash strategies is fun. And having more options equals more fun.
Manual Mode
The manual mode in GoalX feels intuitive and straightforward. There’s nothing fancy, but I like it.
You simply click to place a bet and have plenty of time to finalize it before the round starts.
The betting increments start from as low as $0.10. The maximum limits depend on the casino.
Usually, it’s like this:
- $0.10
- $0.20
- $0.50
- $1
- $2
- $3
- $5
- $10.
The maximum “exposure” (to translate in simple terms: the maximum payout) is set at 10,000x your stake.
I still miss some features, like halving/doubling your bet, which is standard in games like Crash by BC Originals and other popular crash titles.
That being said, the manual mode is a bit more complex than what you’ll find in PumpedX by Turbo Games, but not enough for my taste.
The manual mode doesn’t offer a strategic depth.
But worry not, as things get better.
Auto Mode
Auto mode in GoalX really highlights the potential of the dual-betting interface.
However, the Auto Cashout feature is a big plus. I like it a lot, especially when I want to test some hybrid strategies.
You can place one auto cashout bet for safety while manually controlling another for higher-risk thrills.
Although the default betting interface on a smartphone is just one, I still prefer to manually add the second interface.
However, advanced settings like stopping after reaching a profit or loss threshold would’ve been a great addition.
Real-Time Provable Fairness
While not a flashy feature, GoalX excels in provable fairness, earning our team’s highest rating in this category.
Every single outcome can be verified from both client and server side.
The provably fair system is easily accessible through the settings, where you can verify each round’s outcome using the provided seed and hash combinations.
Pros and Cons
If you’re wondering if GoalX has what it takes to be your next “crash destination”, I’ll sum up its pros and cons.
Here are some areas where GoalX stands out:
✅ $0.10 minimum bet is perfect for casual players
✅ Very lightweight (1MB) and optimized for mobile devices
✅ Real-time provable fairness
✅ Dual-betting interface for advanced strategies
✅ 10,000X maximum exposure
✅ Auto cashout option
But it’s not ideal:
❌ 97% RTP is not the highest I’ve seen
❌ Auto mode could get more features
❌ The concept is too similar to other Onlyplay games
Final Words
GoalX is an amazing crash game, especially if you love soccer and crash games.
The gameplay is engaging, and the option to automate or semi-automate betting strategies adds a practical edge. It’s been an enjoyable experience overall.
However, it bears a striking resemblance to CosmoX.
The comparison feels like that between the iPhone 13 and 14—a newer release, but with only minor differences.
That said, while I do like it, it’s not something I’d choose for extended sessions.
